Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes meet for a seventh time.

The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs have played out some classic games in recent years, including in the postseason.

Both teams are lead by superstar quarterbacks, with Josh Allen under centre for the Bills and Patrick Mahomes his opposite number for the Chiefs.

The pair have met six times, with each leading their team to three victories.

The scorelines when these two quarterbacks have met have not disappointed - 26-17, 38-24, 38-20, 42-36 (OT), 24-20 and 20-17.

But it is Mahomes who has often had the last laugh, with two of his three wins over Josh Allen's Bills coming in the postseason.

Both those wins, including the famous overtime win, came at Arrowhead, the home of the Kansas City Chiefs.

This weekend, however, the two sides meet at Highmark Stadium, New York in the playoffs for the first time in the Mahomes-Allen era.

And that home-field advantage is something Bills tight end Dawson Knox believes will have a huge impact on the outcome of the game.

Speaking to Good Morning Football, Knox said: "Home-field advantage is huge, especially with our fan base.

"There's something about being home that helps so much, particularly as an offense. It's huge from an offensive communication standpoint but also the energy that the fans will bring.

"It gives me chills thinking about it, I'm trying not to get too hyped up!"

Asking what message he would give the Bills Mafia fan base, Knox said: "We need you guys, you guys make more of a difference than you could even imagine.

"I want you going into work on Monday with a hoarse voice, I want you leaving it all out there because I promise you we're leaving it all out there for you."
