A new era gets underway at the New York Jets.

Anticipation is building in New York ahead of the first Monday Night Football of the season when the Buffalo Bills take on the New York Jets.

After years of being mocked in the AFC East, the Jets have suddenly become contenders for a deep playoff run following the arrival of four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers. But will he be able to steer the team towards their second Vince Lombardi trophy?

The Bills on the other hand have been one of the more dominant and exciting teams in recent years, but while they did reach the playoffs last season, the team once again came up short losing in the Divisional round to the Cincinnati Bengals. However, with the strong head coach and quarterback partnership between Sean McDermott and Josh Allen, it feels like it will only be a matter of time until the Bills reach the Super Bowl, and maybe this season will finally be their year.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of Bills vs. Jets.
