The Bears have the first and ninth overall picks in the upcoming NFL Draft.

The Chicago Bears will be key protagonists at the top of this month’s NFL Draft, as they hold the first- and ninth-overall selections when the action gets underway in Detroit.

While the franchise is making little effort to hide the fact they will be selecting Caleb Williams with their first pick, there is intrigue around the number nine selection.

Many are tipping the Bears to select a wide receiver with their second first-round pick and it now appears they are doing their homework in that position.

According to The Athletic, the Bears will host Marvin Harrison Jr at their training facility on Monday.

Harrison Jr, son of the former Colts standout, is one of the most highly-rated receivers to enter the draft in recent years and it would be something of a surprise if he is still on the board when the Bears turn in their second pick.

But in hosting the former Ohio State star, the Bears can be ready for any dramatic draft day twists and turns, while the visit can also help them get a handle on the wideout which could be of benefit if they find themselves facing him in the near future.

This year’s draft class contains a number of excellent receiver prospects, with Harrison Jr set to be joined by the likes of Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze, Brian Thomas Jr and Xavier Worthy as potential first-round selections.
