Are the Dallas Cowboys in trouble?

After day one of NFL free agency, the Dallas Cowboys came in for stern criticism.

The Cowboys' player acquisition period has started quietly. They were among the few teams not to acquire a single player on day one.

This led to some very public criticism. On social media, Tad Prescott, brother of Cowboys quarterback Dak, said, "So, if it wasn't clear already, it is now. The Eagles have the best front office in the NFL."

The Eagles and Cowboys are fierce rivals. Philadelphia made a big move by signing Saquon Barkley. Some sources linked Barkley with a move to Dallas before the market opened.

The criticism did not stop there. Former Dallas Cowboy and current NFL analyst Marcus Spears posted a message saying, "All In," before adding laughing emojis. The 'All In' refers to the noises Dallas' front office made following their playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky weighed in this morning on Get Up, saying, "The Cowboys doing nothing is my big takeaway. They are down four to five starters. They need a left tackle, center, running back, or inside linebacker. Dallas doing nothing is the shocker."

Dallas saw running back Tony Pollard sign a three-year deal with the Tennessee Titans, whilst also losing blindside protector Tyron Smith.
