The Cowboys have the 24th overall pick in Thursday’s first round.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has reiterated his off-season rhetoric by claiming his team will be going ‘all-in’ on this week’s NFL Draft.

The 2023 season saw the Cowboys slump to another disappointing playoff defeat as they went down to the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card round.

Ahead of what would go on to be a relatively quiet free agency period for the team, Jones promised his team would continue to be all-in, words he again revisited ahead of Thursday night’s first round.

"We feel great about what we've been in free agency," Jones said, as per the team’s website. "All-in. All-in. All-in. We're all-in with these young guys. We're all-in with this draft."

The Cowboys have lost key players in Tyron Smith, Jayron Kearse and Tony Pollard this offseason, while fans are still waiting for updates on contract extensions for Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons, amid a tight salary cap situation.

One area of need that head coach Mike McCarthy would like to address is at running back to replace the departed Pollard.

“My God, I hope we can get one of these running backs,” McCarthy added. “It would be great to add it to the room. But I don’t believe that these draft picks are just absolutely starters.

“I don’t succumb to an 11-man roster because it’s not the reality of how this thing works. I think the fact that we’re in a 17-game schedule, it’s even more exemplified. It’s going to take them all to get to where we want to go to.”

The Cowboys have the 24th pick in Thursday's first round.
