At 6-2, the Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the best teams in the NFL.
And they've notched their past two wins with Russell Wilson as their starting quarterback as he led the Steelers to a 26-18 home win over the New York Giants on Monday Night Football.
Here, DAZN lists five takeaways from the Steelers' win.
Think twice before questioning Mike Tomlin
Don't look now, but Mike Tomlin's decision to insert Russell Wilson at starting QB has aided the Steelers in going 2-0 the past two weeks.
First, Wilson led them to a beatdown of the New York Jets last week and then tonight, he aired it out for 278 yards and a touchdown in the win over the Giants.
Simply put: Mike Tomlin remains one of the best coaches in the NFL, period.
Russell Wilson still has it on a high level
In two weeks as the Steelers' starting QB, the veteran has 542 yards passing and three touchdowns. Monday night's win over the Giants had Wilson delivering picture-perfect passes — like this one he floated right into the hands of Calvin Austin III for a beautiful 29-yard touchdown strike.
There's something to be said about a QB with experience. For Wilson, who was maligned for his seasons in Denver, he's proving he has high-level, winning football left.
Russell Wilson, George Pickens have great chemistry
Whether it's Wilson's pass right in the numbers or Pickens' difficult catch that he made look all too easy, this highlight exemplifies how the Steelers' QB and wideout have some great chemistry bubbling.
In two weeks, Wilson has found Pickens for nine catches toward 185 passing yards and a touchdown.
This connection can not only be counted on in a big spot, it can win the Steelers some games as this season continues to unfold.
T.J. Watt is a nightmare edge pass rusher
With the game in the balance, the Steelers linebacker pressured off the edge, got to Daniel Jones, strip-sacked him and recovered the ball for the Steelers.
So far this season, Watt has 4.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery, reinforcing that he's a world-class disruptor on defense and nightmare to account for when it comes to offensive lines.
Calvin Austin III put the 'special' in special teams
Prior to Austin III breaking out this spectacular 73-yard punt return for a touchdown, the Steelers and Giants were deadlocked at 9-9 — both teams unable to punch in a TD.
Not only did Austin III's fireworks help give the Steelers a boost, but he added to their lead with a touchdown reception as an encore.
Those playing fantasy football will need to keep an eye on his big-play potential.
