The Buffalo Bills, fresh off handing the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs their first loss, have earned a bye this week. In addition, the Atlanta Falcons, Cincinnati Bengals, New Orleans Saints, New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars are all on a bye this week.

That said, there are plenty of enticing matchups and storylines to look out for Week 12 of the 2024 NFL season.

Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers (7-3) still feel the sting from their NFC Divisional playoff loss to the San Francisco 49ers (5-5) last postseason.

They’ll look for an offensive explosion at home on Lambeau Field where they’ll host the 49ers.

Love threw for 261 yards and a touchdown last week, while also tossing an interception.

Can the Miami Dolphins return to .500?

Don’t look now but the Dolphins, who were once 2-6, have won two straight and are threatening to return to the .500 level.

Their wins the past couple of weeks have come against the Los Angeles Rams and Las Vegas Raiders, and the Dolphins (4-6) will look to make it three straight when they host the New England Patriots (3-8) on Sunday.

Last week, Tua Tagovailoa found Jonnu Smith for two touchdowns and Tyreek Hill for one TD.

A huge NFC West division matchup

It’s a pivotal Week 12 for the NFC West, headlined by the division-leading Arizona Cardinals (6-4) visiting the Seattle Seahawks (5-5). What’s especially intriguing about this matchup is they’ll clash again in Arizona in two weeks on December 8.

Who’s going to strike first?

The Philadelphia Eagles (8-2) are soaring as the winners of six straight, with Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley and A.J. Brown leading a potent offense. On the other side, the Los Angeles Rams (5-5) aren’t too shabby on the offensive side of the ball either, with Matthew Stafford having weapons such as Kyren Williams and Cooper Kupp at his own disposal.

With stars like these, expect nothing short of fireworks in LA for this Sunday Night Football tilt.

Monday Night Football features an excellent game

Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens (7-4) are coming off a tough division loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. And it won’t get easier Monday night when they visit Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers (7-3). In addition to the QBs with big arms, the game features two of the best running backs in Derrick Henry and J.K. Dobbins.
