Who will pick Jayden Daniels?

Heisman Trophy winner and LSU product Jayden Daniels has stated that he is not too motivated by being the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Daniels spoke to the media today before his Saturday workouts at the NFL Scouting Combine. Draft analysts and scouts believe Daniels could usurp Caleb Williams as the first overall pick.

Some pundits believe Daniels is at least the second-best quarterback available.

Daniels enjoyed an impeccable 2023 season at LSU. He threw 40 touchdowns, rushed for 1,134 yards, and scored ten rushing touchdowns.

But speaking to the press, Daniels played down the idea of him going first: "Yeah, there's something special (about being No. 1). Being viewed as the No. 1 overall player, for that draft, the No. 1 overall pick, there's some significance to it, but you know, it doesn't hold a lot of weight for me.

"I want to go to the best situation if that's the first pick or the 32nd pick. I'm just blessed overall just to be here. No matter where I hear my name called, I'll be happy."

Daniels is in play for many teams. He has interviewed with the Washington Commanders, New England Patriots, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Giants and Denver Broncos.
