Authoring an overtime Super Bowl LVIII-winning drive Sunday night in Las Vegas, Patrick Mahomes stamped the Kansas City Chiefs as a bona fide NFL dynasty.
He also moved himself further into exclusive company.
With the Chiefs' 25-22 overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers and his MVP honors from the game, Mahomes joined Tom Brady and Joe Montana as the only players who have won three Super Bowls and three Super Bowl MVPs.
Mahomes completed 34-of-46 passes for 333 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for another 66 yards on the ground in the game to clinch the Chiefs' back-to-back Super Bowl wins and his second straight Super Bowl MVP.
The Chiefs' thrilling win Sunday night had them rallying to force overtime, before having to come from behind in the extra period as well to win the game.
