The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have experienced all the highs and lows life as an NFL team can offer.
Coming into existence in the mid-1970s, the Bucs became a playoff team by the 1979 season and followed that up with back-to-back postseasons in 1981 and 1982. It would then take 15 years before Tampa Bay played playoff football again, and they again became perennial postseason participants through the first decade of the 21st century.
What followed was another brutally long stretch of unsuccessful seasons, only ended by the arrival of the greatest of all time, Tom Brady, who guided the Florida team to three consecutive playoff seasons to kick off the 2020s.
The Bucs have had a rollercoaster existence to say the least, but their highs may have made the frequent lows worth it in the end.
