A look at the Super Bowl LVIII posh seats.

The spotlight on who is attending Super Bowl LVIII is almost as bright as the one on those playing in the actual game.

The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs will go head-to-head in Las Vegas this weekend in one of the biggest dates of the sporting calendar. The event will attract everyone from loyal fans of the two sides to the kind of people that can drop seven figures on attending a sports game.

The Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas will be playing host to the contest as the big game heads to Sin City for the first time. And for those with deep enough pockets to land a place in a luxury suite, it should be a unique experience.

How much does a luxury suite cost?

The average cost of a Super Bowl ticket in the stands is $9,850, so you know a suite won’t come cheap.

Hospitality provider Suite Experience Group offer a range of suites which start at $180,000 for four tickets and go up to $1.8million for 20 tickets. Prices did peak at $2.5million, but have dropped in the build-up to the game.

What do you get for your money?

Each suite can accommodate up to 22 people and are considered the best seats in the house, with comfy seating on an open-air balcony. There is a private lounge area with bar, kitchenette and bathroom, with guests getting unlimited food and drink that includes wagyu beef hotdogs, BBQ burnt end burritos, carne asada fries, frozen cheesecake and much more.

Who will - and who won’t - be in a suite this weekend?

It’s expected that Taylor Swift will be in a suite to cheer on her partner Travis Kelce, but she has an estimated net worth of more than $1billion, so she can afford it.

That’s not the case for most of the players’ partners and family members, however.

49ers quarterback Brock Purdy earns an average salary of $934,000, so a luxury suite would put a huge dent in his annual earnings.

His teammate Christian McCaffrey also won’t have his family on the posh seats, as his mother explained: “We looked into a suite, and none of us can afford it. Not even Christian, moneybags over there,” she said on the Your Mom podcast. “Nor moneybags Olivia,” Lisa added, referring to her son’s fiancée Olivia Culpo. “So we are not in a suite. I’ll tell you that right now.”
