Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen offered an update on a shoulder injury he picked up during Thursday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Allen picked up the injury in the week six matchup against the New York Giants, and the Bills have managed his workload during training sessions since that game.

An awkward fall in the game reaggravated the injury, and Allen left the game and went for an evaluation in the blue medical tent. Backup quarterback Kyle Allen readied himself on the sidelines, but Allen did return and led the Bills to a 24-18 win.

When asked about it, Allen explained, "Took a little, little fall on it and felt a little funky about it, but you know, just trying to keep it warm and keep it loose." Allen also downplayed the severity of the injury, "'I'll be sore for a couple of days, but we'll be fine."

Allen will benefit from an extended ten-day rest as the Bills do not play again until November 6th. Allen still played excellently against the Buccaneers. He threw for 324 yards, two touchdowns and rushed for one touchdown.

Head coach Sean McDermott commended his star quarterback's toughness and tenacity, "You're going to have to take his helmet from him to keep him from going back out there. I mean, he's a warrior."
