The Kansas City Chiefs may have rested a number of star names in their Week 18 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, but there is one Chiefs player who was still able to make an impact at SoFi Stadium.
Superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce did not feature in the team's 13-12 win over their AFC West rivals, but Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones left his mark on the game.
Going into the final week of the regular season, Jones was in line to win a $1.25m bonus if he managed to complete a 10th sack of the season and he did just that.
While Jones needed just a 0.5 sack to get the reward, the 29-year-old was forced to wait until the third quarter to get the opportunity on what was his 31st pass rush of the game.
When Jones successfully tackled Chargers QB Easton Stick, wild celebrations followed on the Chiefs sideline.
The time for celebrating however will be short lived with the Chiefs now turning their attention towards Super Wild Card weekend where they will host the Miami Dolphins for place in the Divisional round of this year's playoffs.
