The defending champions are one game away from reaching the Super Bowl.

The Kansas City Chiefs are once again in the midst of a deep playoff run.

Despite an underwhelming season in 2023, the Chiefs are delivering when it matters most, and that is in the postseason.

Following a narrow 27-24 win over the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round, the Chiefs are appearing in their sixth successive AFC Championship Game and that is no part thanks to the partnership between quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce.

During the game, Mahomes and Kelce connected on two touchdowns which took their post season total to 16 which has become the most postseason touchdowns scored by a quarterback and receiver partnership.

This record was previously held by Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski who managed to score 15 postseason touchdowns during their playing days.

Mahomes and Kelce have a chance to increase this number on Sunday when they face the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game where a win would see the Chiefs appear in their second consecutive Super Bowl and bring them a step closer to successfully defending their title.
