Approaching Week 10 in the NFL season, there’s one undefeated squad left standing — the defending back-to-back Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.

Patrick Mahomes overcame an injury scare to help lead the Chiefs to a 30-24 overtime victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri on Monday Night Football. The game ended with running back Kareem Hunt plowing in for a goal-line touchdown.

Mahomes finished with 291 passing yards and three touchdowns, including two to DeAndre Hopkins. Hunt finished with 106 yards rushing and the decisive TD on 27 carries.

That said, the latest Chiefs' victory didn't come without Arrowhead taking a collective deep breath. After Mahomes rolled right and flipped it to Samaje Perine for a touchdown to tie the game at 17 early in the fourth quarter, the star quarterback limped off the field, favoring his left ankle.

He'd enter the Chiefs' medical tent and jog out of it, despite a rolled ankle, to the roar of the crowd. He'd lead the Chiefs on a 15-play, 78-yard drive, ending it by finding Hopkins in the end zone to give KC a 24-17 edge with 4:17 remaining.

Not to be outdone, Baker Mayfield responded by authoring a 10-play, 71-yard drive ending in a TD strike to Ryan Miller to knot the game at 24 and send it into overtime.

Tampa Bay's decision to kick the extra point instead of trying to end the game with a two-point conversion wound up costing it as the Chiefs won the overtime coin toss and elected to receive.

It took just under six minutes for Mahomes to march the Chiefs down the field on a methodical 10-play, 70-yard drive which ended with Hunt punching in the winning TD, improving the champs to 8-0. The Bucs fell to 4-5.

Here are the key updates and highlights from the Chiefs' overtime home win over the Buccaneers.
