Is Maxx Crosby ready for the 2024 season?

The Las Vegas Raiders made one of the biggest free agent signings in week one of the new league year.

The Raiders signed destructive defensive tackle Christian Wilkins to a four-year deal worth $110 million, with 84.75 million guaranteed.

Wilkins was the most coveted defensive player on the market, and the Raiders landed him. Raiders fans are rightly excited about watching Wilkins team up with 'Mad' Maxx Crosby.

Crosby is one of the best pass-rushers in the NFL. He is a relentless, disruptive force. Last season, Crosby notched 14.5 sacks, while Wilkins recorded nine at the defensive tackle position.

Speaking on the NFL Report podcast, Crosby expressed his enthusiasm over Wilkins' signing. "I'm super excited. I've known Christian for a long time. We've already had some great conversations. He's a super player, and I can't wait for him to get out here."

Furthermore, Crosby said he looks forward to the internal competition that Wilkins' arrival will provide, saying, "I look forward to the healthy competition. Christian will have to work really hard to out-work me. But I love him; he's got tons of energy, and he loves football."

Crosby also outlined the Raiders' aims for 2024, "We plan on winning lots of games. He understands what it takes. That's what I'm fired up for. If we want to win, we need to do it together."
