Week 10's "Monday Night Football" matchup features two NFC North teams headed in opposite directions.
The Chicago Bears had an excellent start to the 2020 campaign. They won their first three games of the season and looked like legitimate contenders by the end of Week 6 when they boasted a 5-1 record and topped the division. It's been all downhill since then, however, as Chicago has lost three straight.
To be fair to the Bears, the three-game losing skid came during the toughest part of their schedule as they faced the Rams, Saints and Titans in consecutive weeks — with all three opponents sporting winning records and two of them (the Saints and Titans) leading their respective divisions.
Still, Chicago brings no momentum into its Monday night showdown with the suddenly surging Vikings.
Minnesota's season started in exactly opposite fashion to the Bears — the Vikings lost their first three games and were sitting at a dismal 1-5 after Week 6. But the Vikes' Week 7 bye came at the perfect time, as they returned from the break by toppling two straight NFC North foes in the Packers and Lions.
Now the Vikings turn their focus to the stumbling Bears as they look to extend their winning streak against intra-divisional rivals to three games.
