A pair of teams looking to take the top spot of their respective divisions square off on "Monday Night Football" as the Los Angeles Rams visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Rams (6-3) entered Week 11 second in the ultra-competitive NFC West. They actually started the weekend with the same record as both the Cardinals and Seahawks, but tiebreakers have determined first through third in the NFL's biggest logjam.
LA enters Monday's matchup on the back of an impressive 23-16 win over Russell Wilson and the Seahawks, which easily represented the Rams' biggest victory of the season so far.
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers (7-3) were also victorious last weekend. Tampa Bay doubled up on the Panthers in a 46-23 win, which served as a bounceback from the previous week's humbling 38-3 loss to the Saints. Tom Brady had one of his best performances of the season against the Panthers, throwing for 341 yards with three touchdown passes, no interceptions and a rushing TD.
The Bucs will need more of that performance from Brady — and less of his Week 9 outing in which he threw three INTs and was sacked three times — if they are going to find success against a Rams team that needs a victory to keep up with its divisional rivals.
