When Aaron Rodgers moved to the New York Jets it felt like a coup for the franchise - but now, could it be an albatross ahead of facing the Houston Texans in a Week 9 clash?
After missing most of last term, the Super Bowl champion with the Green Bay Packers has failed to fire across the 2024 NFL season, available with NFL Gamepass on DAZN.
Rodgers appears reluctant to reopen old wounds - both physical and mental - with his performances this term, though there have been flashes of his old swashbuckling self.
The Texans meanwhile are looking strong off the back of a win against divisional rivals the Indianapolis Colts, and now hold a two-victory advantage in the postseason race.
That could take them into a promising push if they maintain their form, with six wins and two losses so far this term, and a glorious chance to stretch their record further now.
But just how do these two teams stack up against each other, and what does their current form tell us about this matchup?
Here's everything you need to know about the head-to-head record between the Rams and the Vikings

One of the least-played matchups in NFL history, there isn't a lot to go on when it comes to picking out the legacy between the Jets and the Texans.
Ten encounters over the years means this is a rivalry that has been engaged few and far between, though they will actually clash for the second time inside a year.
In simple terms, this is a relationship that has been particularly one-sided in the favour of the Jets. They have won seven of their matchups, including the first in 2003.
On that occasion, LaMont Jordan scored an eight-yard rush in the final minutes of the fourth quater to secure a 19-14 win, and from there, the Texans struggled to succeed.
New York racked up four straight victories afterwards, each helping them to a second-place AFC East finish and postseason football, including the 2009 AFC Championship game.
Houston finally turned the tide with a first win in 2012, topping the AFC South division in the process, before adding two more triumphs in 2015 and 2018.
But since then, the Jets have reasserted themselves, winning their last two encounters, including a 30-6 triumph - the biggest margin of victory in their rivalry - last December.

This season though, it is a different story. The Jets had such high hopes with a fully fit Rodgers at their disposal - but instead, they look destined to miss out on the playoffs.
It did not appear that the writing was immediately on the wall for now departed coach Robert Saleh, having secured wins in Weeks 2 and 3 over Tennessee and New England.
But a pair of narrow losses, first to Denver and then Minnesota in London, brought the curtain down on his four-year tenure as he was unceremoniously fired from the Jets.
Since then, interim boss Jeff Ulbrich has overseen three straight losses, albeit with two only by single-score margins, while Rodgers continues to stutter like a failing motorcar.
Houston, on the other hand, are looking the business. Just one loss in their first six games, to the VIkings, and only two for the term makes them one of the form teams.
Save for a blowout victory against the Patriots, these have been hard-fought wins for the Texans, coached by DeMeco Ryans, with C.J. Stroud slowly gaining more strength.
Neville Hewitt made the most of a rare start with a late play to force a match-clinching fumble against the Colts, and now they will look to build another crucial victory this week.
