Pride is on the line tonight in the final game for both teams.

While many of Week 18's other games will help determine the field for the NFL's postseason, tonight's New York Jets vs. New England Partiots match-up will not have any playoff implications.

That's because the AFC East duo have both long been eliminated from playoff contention, and they are now looking ahead to next season.

With that in mind, questions surrounding Pats head coach Bill Belichick's future have increased as the end of the campaign approaches. Belichick has avoided talking about his future amid rumours of his impending dismissal by team owner Robert Kraft, preferring to keep the focus on his current squad and getting the best out of them, but the possibility exists that this is the legendary coach's last game in charge.

As for the Jets, they aren't facing the same kinds of questions about their future, as there's no Belichick-type figure coming to a potential crossroads after this game. Losers of 15 straight games at Gillette Stadium, the Jets are just looking to escape New England with a win.

"The goal is breaking the losing streak, honestly," Jets linebacker Quincy Williams said.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of Jets vs. Patriots.
