On Wednesday, the NFL announced the players of the week for the AFC and NFC in Week 7.

AFC

Offense: Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

Another week, another Ravens player claiming this award. Jackson threw five touchdown passes with no interceptions in Baltimore's 41-31 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, for an astonishing 158.1 passer rating. He also added 52 rushing yards.

Defense: Cody Barton, Denver Broncos

Barton was a force for Denver in the Broncos' 33-10 win against the stumbling New Orleans Saints, recording eight tackles, one pass defensed, one forced fumble and a 52-yard fumble-return touchdown.

Special teams: Charlie Jones, Cincinnati Bengals

Jones wasted no time making an impact in the Bengals' Week 7 contest, scoring a 100-yard kickoff return to start the game. He also racked up 39 punt return yards in Cincinnati's 21-14 win at Cleveland.

NFC

Offense: Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles

Barkley returned to MetLife Stadium and dominated his former team, the New York Giants, with 187 scrimmage yards (176 rushing, 11 receiving) and a rushing touchdown to lead the Eagles to a 28-3 victory in the NFC East showdown.

Defense: Cobie Durant, Los Angeles Rams

Durant had a unique defensive hat trick in Week 7, recording an interception, sack and forced fumble in the Rams’ 20-15 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Durant is the first DB this season to register all three in a single game this season.

Special teams: Jake Bates, Detroit Lions

Bates hit the game-winning field goal with 15 seconds remaining as Detroit completed a comeback 31-29 victory against the Minnesota Vikings. He also converted all four PAT attempts to capture his first player of the week nod.
