It’s playoff time in fantasy football, making your final roster moves all the more vital toward your success. Here, DAZN lists some intriguing targets on your fantasy waivers.
Quarterbacks
Aaron Rodgers
At 3-10, the New York Jets’ season is an absolute wash. Yet, Aaron Rodgers still has value in fantasy football leagues, especially this week.
After throwing for 339 yards and a touchdown last week in Gang Green’s latest loss, Rodgers and the Jets are set to visit the Jacksonville Jaguars who own the league’s worst defense and are also 3-10.
If you’re in a bind at quarterback this week, snatch Rodgers off the waivers and feel good about it … even as a fantasy football playoff start.
Matthew Stafford
Since having his receiving corps healthy and fully loaded, Stafford has put up some big numbers.
Last week, that theme continued as the veteran threw for 320 yards and two touchdowns in a huge Los Angeles Rams’ victory over the Buffalo Bills.
As the Rams (7-6) continue to make a playoff push, Stafford should be a go against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football and beyond. Considering he’s rostered in less than half of fantasy leagues out there, Stafford might be available for the taking and could spell the difference in you winning your league or not.
Jameis Winston
Winston draws a tough matchup against the defending back-to-back Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs this week. However, with the Cleveland Browns playing the Chiefs this week and the Cincinnati Bengals next week, Winston could be a nice stash and play option. After all, the Bengals have given up a boatload of points the past few weeks,
Running backs
Zach Charbonnet
Simply put: Zach Charbonnet should and will be sought after with maximum urgency this week and beyond. That’s courtesy of the second-year running back’s 134 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 22 carries to help lead the Seattle Seahawks to a key win over the Arizona Cardinals last week.
The Seahawks play the Green Bay Packers this weekend. That’s the same Packers who gave up 111 yards and a touchdown rushing in a loss to the Detroit Lions last week.
Do what you can to claim him off the waivers as his acquisition could power your way through your league’s playoffs.
Tank Bigsby
Eighteen carries for 55 yards and a TD rushing from Bigsby was the lone offensive bright spot for the Jacksonville Jaguars in a rare win last week.
He could be in line for a repeat performance of such numbers or better as they face another team with nothing to lose in the visiting New York Jets.
Snatch and start; why not?
Sincere McCormick
That’s two weeks in a row that McCormick has put up noteworthy numbers out the backfield. He followed up 64 yards rushing on 12 carries to end November with 78 yards on 15 carries to launch his December.
With the Las Vegas Raiders at home against the Atlanta Falcons, McCormick would be worthy to roll the dice on and start.
Wide receivers
Adam Thielen
Thielen’s line last week? Nine catches for 102 yards on 11 targets. That makes him a no-brainer pickup and fantasy playoff steal … if you can get him.
The veteran wideout will look to keep the splashy numbers going in Week 15 as his Carolina Panthers host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
Ray-Ray McCloud III
Kirk Cousins has been spreading the wealth quite a bit and Ray-Ray McCloud III is reaping the benefits.
McCloud produced eight receptions for 98 yards on 11 targets last week and could be in store for similar numbers when the Atlanta Falcons visit the lowly Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football.
Quentin Johnston
Look, Johnston’s name has been brought up here before. If you took heed and got him, congrats.
If not, there’s still a sliver of a window to make amends. Johnston is a target Justin Herbert looks to quite a bit. In a close loss to the Chiefs last week, the Los Angeles Chargers’ wide receiver was targeted seven times and turned that attention into five catches for 48 yards and a TD.
Getting him and starting him at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend would be a wise play.
