Thanksgiving is all about feasts, and the U.S. version of the annual holiday presents a cornucopia of NFL football with a doubleheader on Thursday.
Kicking things off at 12:30 p.m. ET is Texans vs. Lions. Neither team is lighting the league on fire, as the Texans (3-7) sit third in the AFC South while the Lions (4-6) are last in the NFC North. Things are particularly grim for Detroit, which has surpassed 21 points just once over the past four games — including a shutout loss last week to the Panthers.
In the late afternoon game (4:30 p.m. ET), Washington travels to Dallas to face the Cowboys in an all-NFC East affair. Both teams are 3-7, both are coming off wins in Week 11, and both are within a single victory of taking over top spot in the division. It's been a tough slog for the teams in the NFC East, but that makes each game all the more important — especially during these intra-divisional matchups. The Cowboys claimed a 25-3 victory when these teams met on Oct. 25, giving them a mental edge for the rematch a month later.
A prime-time game between the Ravens and Steelers — originally scheduled for Thursday at 8:20 p.m. ET — has been moved to Sunday following a trio of positive COVID-19 cases among the Baltimore players .
Here's more info about the matchups, plus everything to know about how to watch on Thursday.
