Four first-time head coaches will begin their offseason programs on Monday.

Four first-time NFL head coaches get their first chance to work with their players on Monday, as a quartet of teams kick off their voluntary offseason programs.

The Seattle Seahawks, Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans all begin Phase One of their programs, which is a two-week period where teams can undergo conditioning work and hold team meetings.

This quartet join the Atlanta Falcons, Los Angeles Chargers, and Washington Commanders who began their programs last week, while the rest of the league starts on April 15.

The teams starting today all have first-time head coaches, meaning this is the first opportunity to really get to know their players and hold team-wide meetings.

Dave Canales is the new man in charge in Carolina, Mike Macdonald is in at Seattle, Brian Callahan was hired by Tennessee, while Jerod Mayo was the man chosen to replace Bill Belichick in New England.

This part of the offseason is voluntary, bar a one-week minicamp in June in which players are mandated to attend.
