And then there were four.
Heading into Week 6 of the 2020 NFL season, there are four teams remaining with perfect records: the Seahawks (5-0), Packers (4-0), Steelers (4-0) and Titans (4-0). There are discrepancies between those teams' records due to scheduling issues that have arisen because of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the regularly scheduled bye weeks, but that doesn't make the achievement any less impressive through the first portion of an unprecedented season.
One team that dropped out of the perfect list is the Chiefs, who fell to 4-1 after losing 40-32 to the Raiders last weekend. It took many by surprise, given how the Chiefs appeared to be on a roll, but the end result is that the Raiders are now within touching distance of Kansas City's perch atop the AFC West.
Things don't get any easier for the Chiefs as they try to get back into the win column, with the Bills — the other team who saw their perfect record snapped in Week 5 —awaiting in Buffalo. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will travel to Western New York for a rare dinnertime clash on Monday, with the Bills surely eager to continue their hot start with a victory over the defending Super Bowl champs.
Among the other intriguing matchups in Week 6 is Sunday's contest between the Packers (4-0) and Buccaneers (3-2), which should provide a gauge on how well Tom Brady's Bucs can bounce back from a tough loss while facing another good opponent. Additionally, the Browns (4-1) travel to PIttsburgh to take on the Steelers (4-0), who are fresh off Canadian rookie Chase Claypool's four-touchdown breakout game.
