Quarterback Russell Wilson has expressed his desire for more success and career goals over the next five years.
Wilson, a former Super Bowl winner with the Seattle Seahawks, has endured a problematic two-year spell with the Denver Broncos.
Wilson's 2022-23 campaign in Denver ended with head coach Nate Hackett's firing. Wilson finished the 2023-24 season on the bench. Head coach Sean Payton dropped Wilson in favour of Jarrett Stidham.
Once billed as a Hall of Famer, Wilson's career is at a crossroads. His future is a mystery. But, the 35-year-old has underlined his hunger and desire for more success.
Speaking on Brandon Marshall's I Am Athlete podcast, Wilson said, "I've got more fire than ever, honestly, especially over the past two years of what I've gone through. For me, it's about winning."
Wilson also clarified the plan for the rest of his career, saying, "Next five years I get to hold two more Super Bowl trophies, that's my goal ... that's my plan ... knowing that you want to be one of the greatest winners to play this game."
