The 49ers are being hit with a raft of injuries.

As the 2023 NFL season rumbles on, teams are now beginning to pick up more and more injuries, and the San Francisco 49ers are no different.

After a blistering start, the 49ers suffered their first loss in week six after they were beaten by the Cleveland Browns 19-17, but the team also lost one of its biggest stars in the process to injury.

Wide receiver Deebo Samuel was ruled out early in the game against the Browns with a shoulder injury and while intial X-rays came back negative, head coach Kyle Shanahan later revealed on Saturday that a CT scan had uncovered a hairline fracture in his shoulder and will miss the team's next two games against the Minnesota Vikings and Cincinnati Bengals.

"Oh yeah, it's always different, you know, it's what we did last week," Shanahan told reporters when discussing Samuel's injury and what contingency plans are in place.

"We weren't sure of him throughout the week, so we had contingency plans as it goes, and he's been banged up for a few weeks before that too, so give him a chance to hopefully settle down and get back 100 percent."

Samuel is not the only star name that could be missing from the 49ers lineup against the Vikings this coming Monday, running back Christian McCaffrey is questionable for the game after picking up an oblique injury in Cleveland.
