The GOAT has given the Bills quarterback some words of advice.

Former NFL quarterback Tom Brady - widely considered to be the greatest of all time - has passed on some words of wisdom to the Buffalo Bills' Josh Allen, while also likening him to "his oldest son".

The pair appeared on SiriusXM NFL Radio when it was pointed out to the seven-time Super Bowl winner that Allen, 27, was closer in age to Brady's eldest son Jack, 16, than he was to Tom, 46.

Brady compared Allen to his oldest son, saying: "I try to tell him, but in the end he has to do it his own way."

As the Bills' starting quarterback, Allen has won 57 games and lost 27 during the regular season, but is just 4-4 in the postseason with the AFC East franchise.

As a result, Allen is yet to lead Buffalo to a Super Bowl, and while the quarterback is not solely to blame for Buffalo not reaching a Super Bowl in recent years, he has faced criticism over the years for the number of turnovers he is responsible for.

And on SiriusXM NFL Radio, Brady told Allen: "A lot of playing quarterback in the end is about mitigating risk.

"You can throw a ball into tight coverage and say, 'Look sometimes you have to throw a ball into tight coverage'.

"Or you can throw the ball to a guy who is a little bit more open and gain a few less yards.

"That's my point, we have to sometimes make decisions in certain moments to check the ball down or gain a few yards and move on."
