Here's everything to know about how to watch the Broncos vs. Chiefs.

A tough season for the Denver Broncos is about to get a whole lot tougher.

The Broncos (4-7) face the Kansas City Chiefs (10-1) on "Sunday Night Football" this week, seven days after getting pummeled 31-3 by the New Orleans Saints. The Broncos were forced to use Kendall Hinton — a practice-roster receiver with college quarterback experience — at pivot after all four of their rostered QBs were unavailable due to COVID-19 concerns. The unprecedented move of activating Hinton to take snaps against one of the better teams in the NFL came after QB Jeff Driskel tested positive for the coronavirus last week while Drew Lock, Brett Rypien and Blake Bortles were all placed on the team's reserve/COVID-19 list after being deemed high-risk close contacts of Driskel.

For their part, all four rostered QBs were fined by Broncos coach Vic Fangio for not wearing masks in their position meetings, and all but Driskel were taken off the reserve list this week.

The entire incident was the low point of a rough campaign for Denver thus far — the Broncos sit third in the AFC West and have the second-worst offence in the conference.

To add insult to injury, they've already lost to the Chiefs this season (43-16 on Oct. 25).

Meanwhile, Kansas City is motoring along as the defending Super Bowl champion should. A lone loss to the Raiders in Week 5 is all that's keeping the Chiefs from boasting the best record in the NFL, and they're well on their way to topping the AFC West for a fifth-consecutive season.

It all adds up to a monumental challenge for a Broncos team that has seen more than its fair share of them this year.
