The Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills' Week 14 "Sunday Night Football" matchup features a pair of teams that lead their respective divisions and are legitimate contenders in the AFC. The Steelers (11-1) were finally brought back down to Earth last week when they suffered their first loss of the season in a surprising 23-17 defeat to the Washington Football Team.
Pittsburgh's loss should certainly be concerning for head coach Mike Tomlin, especially given that Washington was four games under .500 heading into that matchup, but the team has shown over the course of the season that it is a force to be reckoned with.
Still, the Steelers' normally robust offence has been held under 20 points in each of their last two games (they defeated a shorthanded Ravens team 19-14 in Week 12), which has surely caused Tomlin and his staff a bit of anxiety heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
Meanwhile, the Bills (9-3) head into Sunday's matchup as one of the AFC's other consistently good teams. Their three losses have come against the Titans, Chiefs and Cardinals, respectively, with the first two teams being division leaders while the Cardinals are on the playoff bubble. As one of the teams chasing the Steelers and Chiefs for conference supremacy, the Bills would love nothing more than to hand Pittsburgh its first losing streak of the 2020 season.
