It all comes down to this.
After an expanded regular season and one of the crazier postseasons in recent memory, the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals will meet to contest Super Bowl LVI. The teams outlasted everyone else in their respective conferences to earn their spots in Sunday's game, and now the eyes of the world will turn their focus on the unlikely challengers for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Not that either team making it this far is surprising, of course — both the Rams and Bengals topped their respective divisions, each led by quarterbacks playing at an elite level. But both teams getting to the big game at the same time is not something many people saw coming, and now they each have the opportunity to prove that they belong among the storied company reserved only for Super Bowl winners.
To that end, the Rams also have a chance to become the second straight team to win the Super Bowl at home, after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won it all at Raymond James Stadium last year. The Bengals, meanwhile, are looking to finally claim the NFL's greatest prize after more than a half-century of existence.
