The top two teams in the AFC South collide when the Indianapolis Colts visit the Tennessee Titans on "Thursday Night Football."
Both teams are having good overall seasons, but neither is in a particularly good stretch heading into the Week 10 contest.
The Colts (5-3) have been on a bit of a rollercoaster since claiming three straight victories from Weeks 2 through 4. Indianapolis is coming off a 24-10 loss to the Ravens in which the team posted by far its lowest offensive output of the season. They actually scored all 10 of their points against the Ravens in the first half, requiring Baltimore to post its first successful second-half comeback since 2018 (the Ravens had gone 0-10 in their previous 10 games when trailing at halftime).
Meanwhile, the Titans (6-2) overcame a well-publicized spate of positive coronavirus cases in the middle of their season-opening five-game winning streak, only to drop back-to-back games in Weeks 7 and 8. Tennessee got back into the win column last weekend, however, downing the Bears 24-17 in a much-needed result.
That sets up a battle for divisional supremacy as these teams have easily been the class of the AFC South this season. As an added incentive, the Colts and Titans will reconvene in two weeks' time in Indianapolis, with the outcome of Sunday's game surely to influence that Week 12 bout.
