Washington Commanders 2023 season: Schedule, games and how to watchDAZN

The Washington Commanders have hit the headlines in the off-season due to the sale of the franchise by Daniel Snyder for a eyewatering $6.05 billion, the largest sale for a sports franchise ever.

Pushing on from Snyder's reign is a move that, by in large, Commanders fans are happy with, and now they will be looking for positives on the field after finishing fourth in the NFC East in 2022.

After years of quarterback uncertainty, the Commanders will turn to sophomore Sam Howell to start 2023 with veteran Jacoby Brissett waiting to take over if things go sideways.

Howell will have wide receiver Terry McLaurin as his top target, and sophomore Jahan Dotson who could kick on after a promising rookie season.

Washington have the uneviable task of competing in a division with the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, so Howell will have to impress if the Commanders have hopes of the play-offs.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of the Washington Commanders' 2023 season.
