The rebuild continues for these two teams.

Tonight the Washington Commanders and Arizona Cardinals continue their respective rebuilding process as they begin their 2023 seasons.

The Cardinals are the bookmakers' favourites to finish the season with the worst record and as a result have first pick in next year's NFL draft.

Kyler Murray continues his recovery from an ACL injury and Arizona have kept their cards close to their chest about who out of Joshua Dobbs and Clayton Tune will start at quarterback against Washington.

The Commanders have no such issues, with Sam Howell impressing in preseason to earn the starting quarterback role in Washington.
