Is Jason Kelce a Hall of Famer?

Jason Kelce has retired from the NFL. The 36-year-old announced on Monday that he had played his last game.

An emotional Kelce thanked his coaches, teammates and family. The center enjoyed a great career. Drafted in 2011, Kelce earned six First-Team All-Pro nominations and seven Pro Bowl nods. He also won a Super Bowl.

Kelce has a Hall of Fame CV. But when will he go into the Hall of Fame? Here is everything you need to know about the Hall of Fame process.

When can Kelce go into the Hall of Fame?

All retired players must wait five years before going onto the Hall of Fame ballot.

Selected voters then vote for players on the ballots. If a player does not get into the Hall of Fame in his first year, he can stay on the ballot for the following years.

Therefore, the earliest Kelce could enter the Hall of Fame is 2029.

However, former NFL defensive end J.J. Watt has suggested that Kelce go in immediately.
