The 2023 NFL regular season got underway on Thursday, September 7 when the Detroit Lions took on the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead.

When does the 2023 NFL regular season end?
The 2023 NFL regular season will last 18 weeks.
On the final week, all 32 teams will be playing on the w/c Monday, January 1, 2024, but the exact dates and times have not been confirmed as this is influenced by which teams are involved in the playoff hunt.
When do the 2023-24 NFL playoffs start?
A total of 14 teams, seven from each conference, make the playoffs.
Only the number one seed in each conference come the end of the season will receive a first-round bye. The rest will compete in the wild card rounds.
