It is that time of year again, as Electronic Arts (EA) reveals the player ratings for the upcoming Madden game.
Madden 24, which is available worldwide on Friday, August 18, will feature five players with the top rating of 99.
Five other players narrowly miss out with ratings of 98, including Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett and Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
Two of the five players who are in the '99 Club' for the release of Madden 24 play for the same teams, while three play on offense and two on defence.
Justin Jefferson
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson will be the highest rated player for the release of Madden 24.
The 24-year-old has topped 1,400 receiving yards in all three of his NFL campaigns so far, and set a career best 1,809 yards off 128 receptions in 2022 including eight touchdowns.
All of Jefferson's receiving attributes in the game score 97 or higher, with his 'Spectacular Catch' rating maxing out at 99.
Jefferson's 'Stamina', 'Catching', 'Short Route Running' and 'Release' attributes all score one point less with 98.
Zack Martin
Dallas Cowboys' Zack Martin becomes the first guard to enter the '99 Club' since another Cowboys star, Larry Allen, back in 2003.
Martin has been one of the very best at the position in all nine seasons he has been in the NFL, following his first-round draft selection back in 2014.
Martin scores a 98 rating on both his 'Run Block' and 'Run Block Power' attributes, while his 'Strength' and 'Run Block Finesse' are one point lower on 97.
On Madden 24, Martin is rated six points higher than any other right guard, and 13 more than the third best at the position.
Aaron Donald
Aaron Donald's inclusion in the '99 Club' for Madden 24 is a record breaker, as it is the seventh time the Los Angeles Rams star has been given the game's highest rating.
This seventh inclusion takes him past former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning, who was part of the '99 Club' on six different occasions.
Donald, 32, has been NFL's Defensive Player of the Year on three occasions, and will be the only player in Madden 24 with a 'Strength' rating of 99.
Donald's 'Power Moves' and 'Play Recognition' also max out with 99 ratings, while 'Toughness' and 'Pursuit' ratings are one lower on 98.
Patrick Mahomes
The best quarterback in the NFL today, Patrick Mahomes deservedly finds himself in the '99 Club' on Madden 24.
The reigning Super Bowl champion and MVP has been dominating opponents in real life, and now his in-game character will have a similar impact on matches.
All of Mahomes' pass-related attributes score 91 or higher, with his 'Throw Accuracy Short' coming in at 98.
But what makes Mahomes a superstar is more than just his passing, and in Madden 24 he finds himself with a 99 rating for 'Toughness' - a rare feat for a quarterback.
Travis Kelce
Joining Patrick Mahomes in the '99 Club' on Madden 24 is his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce.
The tight end proved during the 2022 season that he is in a tier of his own at the position, catching 110 passes for 1,338 yards and 12 touchdowns - the highest in all three categories for tight ends.
In Madden 24 each player has 53 attributes, and Kelce's 3280 points when combining each and every one of them is the highest on the game, ahead of Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson.
Kelce's highest attributes are his 'Stamina' and 'Catching', both of which have a score of 97.
