Unsurprisingly, the two teams who host Thanksgiving games each year are the teams with the most wins.
The Lions - who have hosted Thanksgiving games since 1934 - lead the way with 37 wins while the Cowboys - who joined the hosting tradition in 1966 - are just behind on 32.
Detroit has lost twice as many games on Thanksgiving as the Cowboys - 44 to 22 - while the Lions have also played out two ties (against the Packers in 1963 and Colts in 1965).
Other than Detroit and Dallas, who has the most wins?
As Detroit and Dallas compete in the NFC North and NFC East respectively, most of their divisional rivals have also played in several Thanksgiving games.
Of them, the Chicago Bears have the third most Thanksgiving wins with 20. They are ahead of the Green Bay Packers (14), New York Giants (7) and Minnesota Vikings (7).
Of the teams with double digit Thanksgiving games, the Arizona Cardinals have the worst record - winning just six of their 21 festive games.
Who has the fewest Thanksgiving wins?
Four franchises have never won a game on Thanksgiving, although one has a very good excuse as to why.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have never played a Thanksgiving game and as a result have never won during that holiday.
The other teams without a Thanksgiving win are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals.
The Buccaneers and Bengals only have one Thanksgiving appearance, however the Browns have lost on all three of their festive games since 1966.
The only perfect winning records on Thanksgiving belong to the Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens and Carolina Panthers, though they have only played in five such games combined.
