Another week means more teams will be sitting idle for their byes.
Across the season each team gets one bye - or rest - week. Bye weeks occur between Week 5 and Week 13.
Here are the two teams that will be on bye week in Week 9, November 1 - November 5.
Week 9 NFL bye week
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers beat New York Giants 26-18 in the final game of Week 8, before getting into their break.
Just two defeats in the season to date, coming back-to-back against Dallas and Indianapolis, have been the only blemishes.
They have responded to those L's with three straight wins, beating The Raiders, The Jets, and now, the Giants to sit top of AFC North at 6-2-0.
San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers go into their bye week after a 30-24 victory over the Dallas Cowboys, which continued their consistently inconsistent form of won one, lost one in their last five.
The 49ers have seen off New England and Settle, as well as Dallas, while defeats to Arizona and Kansas City have been sandwiched between, to sit at 4-4-0.
They will hope their week's break will inspire more consistent positive form, as they head to Tampa Bay in Week 10, before hosting Seattle.
