Known for his electrifying athleticism and reliable hands, Chase is one of the NFL's most dynamic playmakers and quite possibly a player who's set to be the cornerstone of the Bengals' future.
1. College stardom: the LSU connection
Ja’Marr Chase rose to national prominence during his time at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he formed a record-breaking duo with quarterback Joe Burrow.
In the 2019 season, Chase racked up 1,780 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns, leading LSU to a National Championship.
His performance earned him the Biletnikoff Award, given to the nation's top receiver.
2. NFL beginnings: drafted fifth overall
Chase entered the NFL as the fifth overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals.

- Most receiving yards in a single postseason by a rookie: 368 yards.
He was instrumental in the Bengals' run to Super Bowl LVI, where they narrowly lost to the Los Angeles Rams.
