The veteran reached the milestone with a spectacular grab.

Monday Night Football proved to be a successful outing for the Los Angeles Chargers, as they beat the New York Jets 27-6 at Metlife Stadium

The win moves the Chargers back to .500 with a 4-4 record through nine weeks, as they kick-start their hopes of reaching the playoffs.

The game also proved special for star wide recevier Keenan Allen, who passed 10,000 receiving yards for the franchise.

The 31-year-old is in his 11th season in the NFL, and is having one of the best campaigns of his career.

Allen reached the milestone with an incredible catch, reaching out and controlling an overthrown pass with one hand and securing it in bounds.

In passing 10,000 receiving yards for the Chargers, Allen joins an exclusive club which before Monday had just one member.

Allen joins future Hall of Fame tight end Antonio Gates, who holds the franchise record for receiving yards with 11,841.

Gates' 116 touchdowns ranked the most for a tight end of all time, and he is widely regarded as one of the best to ever play the position.
