The FedEx Cup playoffs come to a close later this week with the Tour Championship at East Lake. 

World number one Scottie Scheffler currently sits at the top of the standings, but a win for Xander Schauffele in second will see him pip his fellow countryman to the trophy. 

It's set to be a stacked field in Atlanta with Rory McIlroy, who is ranked sixth, hoping to lift the FedEx Cup for the fourth time in his career.

When does the Tour Championship start? 

The tournament will begin on Thursday, August 29 and conclude on Sunday, September 1.

East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia will be hosting the tournament.
