Anthony Smith calls Jon Jones 'piece of s—' over home invasion comments

Smith absolutely didn't hold back on the UFC light heavyweight champion.

Anthony Smith experienced one of the most frightening ordeals of his life earlier this month when a man broke into his home and the UFC light heavyweight had to beat the intruder down before he was arrested.

So, Smith didn't appreciate Jon Jones tweeting "Glad Anthony is OK, no way dude would have left my house walking" at all. And Smith let the embattled UFC light heavyweight champion know all about it during a recent interview on Sirius XM's "Fight Nation."

“Jon did kind of reach out and tweeted about my whole situation,” Smith said on "Fight Nation." “It said something like ‘glad Anthony is ok, that guy wouldn’t have walked out of my house.’

"So it’s like, what a perfect moment to flex, Jon," he continued. "In the middle of a disaster like that in my home. What a perfect opportunity to flex how God damn cool you are. Just when you thought ‘that’s pretty admirable of Jon Jones to reach out well-wish me,’ then as you continue reading you’re like ‘oh, that’s right, I forgot you’re still a f—ing douchebag.’

“It’s just his opportunity to insert himself and make sure everyone knows how cool and bad ass he is,” Smith tacked on. “You know, for a second, I thought I was going to have to respond and say ‘hey, thanks man, I appreciate it,’ and then you continue reading, and you’re like ‘just for a second, I thought you were human and you have a soul, and then I realize you’re the same piece of s— that you’ve always been.’"

Jones posted his tweet after making a guilty plea for aggravated DWI. Smith's response to Jones' tweet only reignites their feud, considering that Jones defeated Smith by unanimous decision back in March 2019.
