British MMA fighter set to emerge as champion at April eventDAZN
There's a title fight live on DAZN next month.

Aaron Aby and Sam Creasey will collide for a vacant belt at OKTAGON 56 in Birmingham.

A brand-new champion will be crowned when OKTAGON MMA lands in Birmingham for the first-time next month.

Inspiring cancer survivor, Aaron Aby (16-8-1), gets a second chance to capture gold when he faces one of the best flyweights in Europe, Sam Creasey (18-5), for the vacant belt at OKTAGON 56 on April 20. The talented pair already have history and their stories will meet at a crossroad inside Resorts World Arena.

Aby, who has achieved remarkable sporting success despite having cystic fibrosis, competed for the inaugural OKTAGON MMA flyweight belt back in Manchester. His main event with Elias Garcia was stopped due to a cut even though the consensus was that the Welshman had won the opening two rounds convincingly. However, Garcia turned down the rematch on two separate occasions so was stripped of the belt.

Now Aby gets the chance to finally grasp what many have considered as his all along opposite Creasey, who wants to make his own statement in his promotional debut. Both men first met in June 2021 less than two years after Aby recovered from cancer. Creasey defeated him in dominant fashion but Aby has gained strength and size considerably since then which raises important questions for their rematch.

Will Creasey show that he is the better fighter for a second time or can Aby secure his career defining moment after all the adversity on Europe’s biggest stage?
