Nothing will stop "Notorious" from taking shots at Khabib.

Conor McGregor is going to use any opening possible to take shots at his rival Khabib Nurmagomedov.

On Wednesday, McGregor tweeted out some of the most dangerous weapons over the course of mixed martial arts history. In doing so, he ranked his own detonating left hand as first, before rattling off several other signature weapons from the likes of Anderson Silva, Ronda Rousey, Dan Henderson, Mirko Cro Cop and Jon Jones. But "Notorious" didn't end his list without mentioning Khabib and insulting the UFC lightweight champion in the process.

"Conors left hand. Anderson’s front kick. Rondas armbar. Hendo’s bomb. Crocops high kick. Jon’s side kick to the knees over and over again and actually the only thing at this stage? Khabibs little mermaid leg wrap thing he does. What a sport! Who’s the greatest, you already know," McGregor wrote before deleting his tweet.

This marks the second time in the span of a week that McGregor has dissed Nurmagomedov.

Upon learning that the lightweight champ was pulling out of his UFC 249 bout against Tony Ferguson due to being stuck in Russia quarantining because of the country's COVID-19 pandemic travel bans, McGregor blasted Nurmagomedov and accused him of "chickening out."

Nurmagomedov vs. Ferguson has failed to make it into the Octagon five times now, as McGregor referenced in his tweet last week. Justin Gaethje will replace Khabib to face Ferguson in the main event of UFC 249 on April 18 with the interim lightweight title on the line. The winner is expected to face Nurmagomedov. How that will affect McGregor and his desire to rematch his rival remains to be seen.

Nurmagomedov scored a fourth-round submission (neck crank) over McGregor in October 2018, and the two fighters haven't stopped verbally bashing each other since.
