Stinging words from 'Notorious' ahead of UFC 264 and his trilogy fight against Poirier.

Conor McGregor couldn't care less about reigniting his rivalry with Khabib Nurmagomedov, but he is interested in a clash with Charles Oliveira.

While speaking with Ariel Helwani for BT Sport, McGregor discussed both Khabib and the UFC lightweight champion ahead of his Saturday night trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.

"I don't really give a f— about that guy to be honest with you," McGregor told Helwani regarding Nurmagomedov. "He ran. He's gone. He had a little run and dipped out, showed his true character. It's not like I wasn't surprised. He scurried away like the little rat he is. I'm not even concerned."

Despite that dismissal, McGregor perked up when asked about the prospects of facing Oliveira if he defeats Poirier first Saturday night.

"Yeah, it's Oliveira next," McGregor said. "We'll dance with the Brazilians again and I look forward to it."

When Helwani asked if the lightweight champ impresses him, McGregor offered about Oliveira: "No, he's timid. He's going to crumble."

McGregor has a great opportunity to enter the Octagon with Oliveira if he can have his hand raised in the rubber match against Poirier first — something that 'Notorious' vows to do in brutal, punctuating fashion.

"Dustin's going out on a stretcher — that's my prediction," the former double champion said. "He's going out of this fight on a stretcher.

"I'm ready for it all. I'm not jumping the gun, I'm ready for it all, but he's going out on a stretcher."

McGregor won their first fight via first-round TKO in September 2014, before Poirier exacted revenge this past January with a second-round TKO.
