Khabib blasts Conor McGregor on Mike Tyson's podcast over tweet about late father: 'This shows how dirty you are'DAZN
Nurmagomedov didn't hold back when his rival's name was brought up.

Conor McGregor's vile tweet about rival Khabib Nurmagomedov's late father last month didn't go unnoticed by the MMA community.

Daniel Cormier immediately told ESPN that "Notorious" "absolutely crossed the line" and even that it indicates "a cry for help."

Well, after a few weeks, Nurmagomedov decided to weigh in on McGregor's since-deleted tweet himself.

“When he talked about this, only evil can talk about your father, like wife, kids, religion,” Nurmagomedov said on Mike Tyson's Hotboxin' podcast. “If you’re a normal human, you’re never going to talk about this stuff.

“For me, I think he posted this tweet [when he had] drunk too much or [had done] something. He always delete these tweets. When he become normal, [he looked at his cell phone] and said, ‘Oh, what I did.’ Then he delete. This is my opinion, what he does all the time.”

Nurmagomedov added that McGregor talking down on his late father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, who died in Moscow in July 2020 after suffering from complications of COVID-19, reveals his nemesis' true character. The undefeated, retired lightweight king also wondered why people in McGregor's inner circle don't try to have an intervention with the superstar.

“When someone is not with us, he is not even alive, this shows you what you have inside, this shows, like, how dirty you are,” Nurmagomedov continued telling Tyson about McGregor. “When you are one of the best in the world, and you come and you punch someone like 70 years old, like an old man [in a pub], this shows your heart. This shows who you are inside, how dirty you are. When you have parents and you have kids, how can you show yourself like this? I don’t understand why his close people don’t tell him, ‘Hey, what’s going on?’”

McGregor's tweet about Nurmagomedov's late dad stems from Khabib tweeting "Good always defeats evil. Very happy for @DustinPoirier I hope you will get the belt end of the year," in response to Poirier defeating the Irish fighter in their trilogy bout July 10.

A few weeks later, McGregor tweeted and deleted: "Covid is good and father is evil?"
