Logan Paul says 'I can't not do one MMA fight before I die'DAZN
The YouTuber/boxer believes his wrestling background would help him in a cage someday.

Logan Paul is currently gearing up to face Floyd Mayweather Jr. live on pay-per-view June 6.

But the YouTuber/boxer couldn't help saying that he'll have to fight a mixed martial arts bout at some point in the near future as well.

"I actually think I'm probably better in MMA because of my wrestling background," said Paul, while speaking with Showtime during Bellator 259's broadcast Friday night. "I will say, it is a tough sport. It's harder than boxing. MMA fighters are legitimate all-around, 360-degree fighters.

"I've had some knee issues on both knees and it's rough on the body, but I can't not do one MMA fight before I die," Paul vowed. "I'm going to do at least one and if I win, I'll probably do another."

For what it's worth, Paul earned the respect from UFC fighter Paulo Costa during a training session that the two had together at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas last year.

That footage showed Costa and Paul wrestling on the mats, where the YouTuber faired a lot better than he did boxing with the Brazilian, who knocked him out.

After the training session, Costa even saluted Paul on his fighting spirit.

“Ninety percent of guys who go to train MMA have good technique, but not hard spirit, not big heart, you know?” Costa told Paul. “You have both.”
