Denis Frimpong will fight in the final of Oktagon Challenge: England vs Ireland after defeating Beau Gavin on Tuesday.
The fighters put on an instant classic in their bout, with Team Ireland's Frimpong overcoming a aggressive start by Team England's Gavin to pull out the victory.
Gavin dropped his opponent in the first round but was unable to take advantage as Frimpong eventually took control of the fight.
In addition to the defeat, Gavin came away with a broken arm, dislocated shoulder and multiple stitches to his head.
The result sees Frimpong into the final, where he'll face George Staines. The Englishman booked his spot in the final by submitting Armand Herczog in the first round of their fight.
Frimpong vs. Staines will open the main card at Oktagon 48.
