The world boxing champion is set to step inside the cage for the first time tonight.

Current undisputed women's super middleweight champion Savannah Marshall will make her MMA debut tonight.

Marshall signed a contract with the Professional Fighters League (PFL) in 2023 and is due to fight at the PFL Europe event in Newcastle which takes place this evening. 

The former WBO women's middleweight champion will be competing in the women's lightweight division, and if she is able to do well in the cage, a possible showdown with rival and PFL fighter Claressa Shields could be on the horizon.
